I just recieved my second nr70v and this one looks to have had a little bit of some wear and tear. I am looking for a case that will help prevent the screen from breaking off. since it relies so much on that ingle hinge, and this clie already has a little side to side play, I'm afraid that it will one day snap off or cause problems with the functioning. Also since I'm in the military I need a case that can withstand a little abuse. Finally if there are any waterproof cases that are worth considering I want to know your comments on them, I only saw one on ebay and don't know how well it will work. Thanks for the help, I'm really surprised that my other clie has not had similar problems, I guess I just show it a little more care since I know how much I payed for it.

I picked up a Targus case from Best Buy, for about $10. Completely encloses the PDA, has pockets on the left flap for ID/credit cards/etc so it can double as a wallet, memory stick holder, fully zips closed. Not sure if it's waterPROOF, but it's thick enough and sturdy enough that I wouldn't worry unless it got submerged.

I made my own case in under 30 minutes with:
An old piece of cloth (Ex trousers)
A small piece of thread (preferably matching colour) and needle
The little paper pouch the clie came in as a size template
The trick is to sew it inside out and then turn it the right way round ... I believe this is the derivation of the word seamless.
I will send pictures if anyone really wants :P
