I remember that I was able to do this before. I have some sound files in the Sound Utility program. I was able to change the alarm sounds to other customized sounds that I downloaded from the web. Somehow the setting got changed back, and I am unable to do so. I went to "Preferences", and it would only allow me to change the loudness of alarm sound, but not customize it. Anyone got any clue?

Calendar preferences allows you to choose the Alarm sound you want to hear. Dunno if it affects all alarms or just Calendar alarms, but I would guess that it does.
Where did you find alarms to download? I've been thinking about making some of my own alarm sounds (movie or song snippets) but wasn't sure if I'd be able to get them in CLIE-recognized format.

I found the location to change the alarm sound setting right after I posted the question. I had downloaded sound premade .wav files from PalmGear.com Bunch of people had posted them as freeware there.
You can also use SoundConverter 2 program that came with your Clie (find it on the CD under Utilities). The program allows you to covert any music/sound to Clie compatible format. Then just download it to your Clie.
