I am trying to get Photostand to look at some pictures on my memory stick to display them. When I select MS from the dropdown menu, I get this error:
"MemoryMgr.c, line:3649, Nil Ptr
You may need to restart your device. Push the reset button on the bottom to do so"
There is also a radio Reset button on the bottom of the screen.
any ideas?
:D

BTW, my memory stick is a Sandisk 1gb MS Pro.

After much trial & error - including reformatting the MS and copying the directories back over one by one - I think I discovered the problem.
If the \PALM\LAUNCHER directory has < 170 files in it, everything is fine
When I add file # 170 - no matter what file or size it is, this error appears.
So it appears that PhotoStand cannot handle scanning more than 169 files in the LAUNCHER folder! :(
Anyone else see the same thing??

aliasExt.. do you make use of this folder? there may be too many files in this folder. make sure you create a subfolder for each app. if you have it already stored in aliasExt (with no subfolder) you will have to re-install app because you cant move apps around after soft reset. you wont be able to open app. error msg will appear.

Thanks for the info on aliasExt - I replied to this thread since it was the most recent one with the PhotoStand problem - I didn't even notice that it was in the UX forum!
Sorry - I have a TG50 - so needless to say I'm not using aliasExt! :o
Looks like a cool trick. The link to download AliasExt for other OS5 models that I found in one of the other forum threads was dead - so if you know of a good link - please let me know!
Thanks again,
Steve T.
