I hate the audio player program for the TG50. I hate the fact that it doesn't seem to support playlists, and there is no way to organise mp3's.

I have all my mp3's organized so that the filenames start with the track numbers, so they are always in order. but the audio player ignores this!!! it sorts them by alphabetical order of the title of the track in the ID3 tag! WHO ON EARTH THOUGHT OF THIS??

is there a better mp3 playing program available for OS5 that will run on the TG50's? or is there any other better way of using the audio player app? I hate playing mp3's with my TG50 because of this

I think it actually organizes by the order in which you add files to the memory stick.

It does support reordering within the program, but of course that's a pain.

There is a playlist swapper available that was written by CliePet that allows you to swap playlists. I don't have a link for you.

There is no other player currently available. The TG uses a proprietary sound API, so only the built-in player will work.

However, CliePet has made available an API so that other players can be easily adapted (by the developers) to work on it. So, keep an eye out, we may have some relief soon!
