CF not formatted

Anybody solved this problem? I followed all instructions and winxp can detect the cf but it always says that the drive is not formatted and winxp can't format it.

least you can tell us is . . . . well . . . . what you told us . . . .

but what more you can tell us is what you're using to read your CF (clie, CF reader/writer, camera, etc)

if it's in a dedicated CF reader, and it can't even format that, make sure the lock isn't on. if you still can't format, you probably got a dead card. what brand/model is it so we all know what to avoid?

oops, sorry... i'm accessing it using data import while inserted on the NZ90 ...

but when i use it on a dedicated cf card reader/writer, it is doing ok.. maybe something to do with the winxp driver...... don't know what to do anymore since i followed the instruction on the sticky thread...
