Hi, I just bought an Encore Access Point, and it's working with my Ethernet LAN and Clié TH55's, but I lose almost all signal at 30 fts, how can I increase the reach? I had the Encore sit nearby my monitor, I've read putting it on high place and with visual line is better ... any suggestions? (I need to buy a longer patch cord and USB extension and a electric extension to move it ... it's worth the moving?)

Thanks in advance,

Computer specialized stores have products such as Wi-Fi antenna boosters, which can increase the range of your Wi-Fi network. However, be aware that your neighbours may have a better signal as well. Therefore, implement all security measures before you install one of these accessories.

I once saw one that provides a directional range, which might be safer .

Cheers!
