What are the empty spaces for?

Hi, when in the new Clie Organizer view I was wondering what the 2 by 6 rows at the bottom were for. I tried dragging an icon there but nothing works. Thanks!:(

Good Evening-

Those are shortcuts to applications of your chosing. With the CLIE launcher on the screen, tap the upper left corner of the screen. It is a blank space and there is no button there but if you do a drop-down menu will appear. It is titled "Options". Under that is a "Preferences" item. Select that. The next screen will be the place where you identify the shortcuts (what applications the little buttons point to). That is also where you specify Large Icons or Small Icons.
