Bluetooth Hotsync

it says unable to initiate because port is in use by another application. How do I cahnge this? What can I do to hotsync this...I'm so angry!

I have the same problem. I want to hotsync using bluetooth between my nz90 with my Sony Vaio laptop/AmbiCom Bluetooth card, but it says port is in use by another application. I called Sony and they said they would look into it... haven't heard from them for a week.

Does anyone have any answers?????????????

yep..make sure your bluetooth serail adapter has started.

Most times after a reboot I have to restart the bluetooth serial dapter servcie and it wokrs

i figured out that you need to put the COM port for the BT Serial Adapter to the same port that the HotSync is connected to. Go to your HotSync icon in the TRAY and click on SETUP, then go to LOCAL and whatever port is being used, change the port in the CONFIGURATION for BT to the same port as the HotSync manager and it should work. Also, follow davy19's instructions here:
