That may sound like a stupid question, but I am still trying to figure all this out.

My email ISP (Comcast) will not recognize netfront (and no I do not have one of the highly coveted 3.1 versions). Of course, my ISP cannot seem to tell me what browsers they will recognzie...

Can I use some other browser, like Web-to-Go? Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thank you in advance for your valuable advice!!

I use Netfront 3.0 on a UX-50 with Comcast, no problem. I use both WiFi and bluetooth. Works fine.

Anybody know how to get Netfront 3.1 and how to do the upgrade?

When I try to access comcast.net, I get a comcast page with a message saying I need to update my browser, and it has links for Internet Explorer and Netscape.

The only advice Comcast could give me was to go to my browser's site for an update.

I wonder why you can get in and I can't?!?!

Are you just trying to log in to check your email? If that is the case, you don't need to go to the site at all. You can either use Clie Mail that came with your UX or another POP3 email app like Snapper.

Thanks! I just set up ClieMail and it works great! The reason I wasn't using it is because I just wanted to be able to look at my email without actually download it. My PDA will not be my typical way of doing email, and I usually have several hundred email sitting on the server until they are automatically deleted, and I don't want to put that many on my clie.

I just deleted all my mail on the server and reduced the time I let messages sit there after they are downloaded to my PC. Hopefully that will make it more manageable, and I will be able to use my Clie to check my mail when I am out and about.

Just in case you haven't figured it out yet, you can download to Cliemail and leave the messages on the server.

I do this during the day rather than checking my desktop/laptop mail all day. Just fire up the UX, check mail and know that the "real" messages will get to the desktop when I do.

HTH...

I just started using NetFront 3.0 I know how to delete the page history but under the "enter address" all of the web pages I have visited in the past still show up. Is there any way to delete that section of the history?
