I'm a newbie here. I purchased a SONY TJ-27 two days ago but I cannot get the right instructions from the manuals to send a captured picture from the PDA to my computer. I've read all the manuals and even went to the SONY Clie support on-line, but I can't find the answer.
What am I missing? I've the CD-rom and I think I installed every program that has an install button. I don't have a memory stick yet. Thanks. Reu.

I'm having the same problem. I've heard that the only way is to email them via wifi. Is this true?

But the TJ27 doesn't have WiFi! What software are you using? Have you checked whether the pictures are saved as JPGs onto the Memory Stick?

Things are difficult without a Memory Stick. If you had one, you could move the pics onto it and then use Data Export to have the Memory Stick show up as a drive in Windows Explorer. Another solution would be beaming your pictures to your PC using Infrared, but you need an Infrared adapter for this.

here is a pointer to your problem... (if you care to do a search for the topic, there are a few out there as well...)

Hotsync and find your *_JPG.PDB files in your user profile, and perform the rest of the instructions.
Hope this helps.
Thank you, guys, for the postings. I went to the store and bought a 64MB stick ($39.99) and works fine. Inserted the stick in the memory slot. I clicked Data Import, connected to the PC and Windows Explorer gave me the PDA removable disk in drive :F
I copied the pics to the stick, and voila, the pics were in my removable drive. Now, I can get to business. Thanks for the info. Reu
