Sending clie to sony for repairs

i have to send my nx80v to sony for cleaning or repairs, when ever i open it the screen flickers and the picture quality gets graining. Does anyone know how long it takes for sony to send it back? 3 weeks?????
i tried to buy a new one and return my old one but no stores have it instock....

You generally can't return an old PDA because most stores keep track of the serial number when you purchase it, and if the serial numbers don't match, the generally don't accept it.

As for Sony repair, it depends on the problem. It can take less than a week or up to a few weeks, although Sony seems to have become better with repair times.

to be on the safe side should i delete all the program i have on the clie, i'm afraid sony will say my warranty is invalid, i do have a lot of cracked software on it. i do want to leave zlauncher on it, because when you have a picture for the background thats when you can see my problem i get.
i missed my store warranty by 17 days darn it.
