Hello all, this is my first post. Lots of great info here.

While playing MP3 files on my Clie, about 75% of the time during playback the song will suddenly become garbled with what sounds like three or four songs playing at the same time. I can pause the song and then resume playback, and sometimes this fixes the problem and other times the problem continues after a short time. This is very annoying, especially while playing songs through my truck's audio system. This problem has occurred since the first day I owned my Clie.

My method of transferring MP3 files is through dragging and dropping them from my desktop to my memory stick (Lexar 256MB) using MSImport, not Sonic Stage.

Any help would be appreciated.

What bitrate and sampling rate are you using? Try converting the songs to a non vbr bitrate and to 44.1kHz sampling rate using dbpoweramp (http://www.dbpoweramp.com/bin/dMC-r10.exe).

This method (dbpoweramp) was actually worse. Any other suggestions?

Can you give more detail as to what your problem is? DBPowerAmp has never failed me before.

This happened on my MP3 player
The only fix I could get was to trade it in

Hey, thanks alot! I tweaked the settings on dbpoweramp a few times and it worked. God bless the internet.

Meir87 - if you are ever in SoCal, let me know. The beer is on me.
