If you have a program that already uses the SndStream output APIs, you probably know it won't run on the NX/NZ/TG model CLIEs.

With a little work and the new MCA SDK, you the developer can make your program run on the very popular NX, NZ and TG devices.

This is version 1.0. Please read the disclaimers and other info on the website.

I know I was reporting a clicking sound on the output on SndTest3. I just ran SndTest4, and what I noticed was when the right channel is turned off, I can hear 'Taco' coming from the left channel, but also the clicking in the right channel. I don't notice the clicking when the left channel is turned off and only the right channel is playing. Not sure if this is a defect on my machine, but I haven't noticed it with MP3 playback.

OK, from a suggestion of CliePet's I have determined that the clicking is caused by some background app on my system. Works fine after a hard reset.

Looks like the hard reset fixed whatever was wrong. I've restored all my apps, then went one by one re-enabling all the background functions such as ZLaunchers Quicklaunch, CodeDiver, Flexbutton, JackFlash, Switch5, Colorize, GraffitiAnywhere, Okey, Game Controller. I still don't get any clicking, so it looks like all is great :)
