Greetings!
I had a very wierd thing happen with my TH55 today. I grabbed my TH55 off my NX80 charging cradle, and called up the Netfront app. to check out something on the net. The app took almost 8 seconds to load, with a white screen before it loaded. I thought... Hmmm.... why so slow?
I then punched up a few other apps, and they ALL behaved the same way. I was suddenly worried - why were all my apps taking so long to load? I called up my smallest, fastest loading app, and found the same delay. I then noticed that during the 8 seconds or so, my memory stick access light was flickering. Since the app I was pulling up did not even USE anything on the memory stick, I figured there might be some kind of background task going on that used memory stick access.
At this point, frustrated, I pulled my memory stick out of the machine, and tried launching apps. Suddenly, they all launched almost instantly. I then thought.... hmmm.... maybe I can isolate this problem by putting the memory stick back in, and start deleting apps that use memory stick files.
This is when the real surprise hit - immediately after putting the memory stick back in, I started launching apps and they were all back to normal!!! Man was I puzzled. Everything has been working perfectly since then, and I didn't delete ANYTHING off the memory stick.
Any ideas what might be going on here? I am completely perplexed. :(
Best wishes,
Bawko
