Hi

I've just upgraded to an UX50 from a Psion series 5. Its a lovely machine but there is one feature that is missing compared to the Psion, all fields database search. I have a very large (thousands) contacts database that I want to synchronise with Outlook and also search on words wherever they might be in the records.

I have been experimenting with the trial version of Beyond Contacts and have explored Agendus but, unless I'm being stupid which is very possible, I cannot find a way to search on any word in any field. This is a must for me, I have to be able to search my contacts database for a whole variety of different things, not just names.

This was a doddle with the Psion and so far I'm really frustrated/dissapointed that I can't do it with the UX50, which I love apart from this pretty major flaw.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Try FindHack - it'll enhance the standard Ctrl-F (Find) function, enabling you to restrict its scope to whatever apps you choose (e.g. Contacts). Hence you can search for random words from your address book entries
