Does Sony Offer This?

I saw this today and wondered of Sony had anything like this because for some like me :) a cracked screen does happen from time to time.

Sony doesn't have this, that I know of. I know that Best Buy has an extended warrranty that you can buy that will replace your pda.

No, never seen anything like that at Sony. In-stores are the closest, but some won't cover the screen. Don't just ask, look at them in writing.

Yes. I agree. Some sales people will tell you anything to get you to buy it. Check out the fine print to be sure.

best buy dont cover cracked screens that i know for sure..not only that but they will send out your palm wont reaplce anymore

Really? When was in BB a week ago, somebody had problems with theirs, and I heard them tell him he could pick one out at equal value. Not that I don't believe you, but that's what I heard.

I should correct myself..


tehcnically their warranty if you read the fine terms, says they have the right to send back and get it repaired up to 3 times, after that they have to give you a brand new one, or another model equal in value if none in stock.

But some stores are more open to letting you excahnge right away.


Myself I upgraded from nx70 to nz90, but BB gave me a real hard time saying they would not give me a brand new one, they wanted to send it back, got into a whole argument how salesman said i can just come in and replcae..

long story short dont buy it from BB and get the warranty if you are counting to repalce it if anyehting goes wrong.

I knew that about the warranty. I was just concerned when you mentioned that they won't replace anymore. You scared me! If something happened to mine, I wouldn't want to be without one while they send it out! I know they have that option, but I still wouldn't be happy.
