Palm apps screen queires.

Excuse a couple of simple-minded questions, but what are those rectangles with dots in at the bottom of the Palm Apps screen ? Can I remove them?

Also, how do allocate groups of icons under their headings? I used to be able to do this with the Zire - eg. I was able to create a group called Medical and stick all the diabetes stuff there, and I could obviously put games under "games" and so on.

Finally, how do I delete unwanted apps? The menu that was on the Zire for this does not seem to exist on the Clie.

Welcome to the Clie family. :)

The rectangles with dots are the places for your favorite applications. You can put whatever you want there, and it'll always be visible, even if you have five screenfuls of apps. Not sure if you can get rid of it or not--try the manual. You can assign these apps by opening the Options menu > Preferences... Then choose shortcuts for each of the "rectangles with dots."

Sorry, I can't remember how to change the app groups--I use LauncherX for this. Again, I'm sure it's in the manual.

One way to delete apps is to open the "Applications" app. Then you can choose App > Delete... and delete in the way you are accustomed to.
