Pelaca, do you still need a Wireless Access Point or Wireless Router? Or USB Wireless Adapter is enough to get WL100 working on a wired network?

You only have to share the internet connection... You can use the share connection feature on the Win2K / WinXP... on Win95/98 you have to use some software for that, for example winroute.
I would imagine that yes you could use this network adapter, in addition to your PC's current network adapter (wired or not), but you would have to use Windows internet connection sharing. This requires 2 dedicated network cards, 1 going to the network, the other to another PC/laptop/etc. This means that you must have the PC on all the time and configured properly. Even then, I don't know if you can configure your CLIE to use that ICS connection.

You have to check this option on the internet connection interface...

Is not nesesary 2 dedicates networks cards... If you are using PPPoE or PPtP for the Internet conexion, may be the ISP tells you to have to use a dedicated ethernet card (normaly is recomended use a dedicated card, but you can use this card for connect other machines)... The only problem is if you are using a router for share the internet conection... on this case the machine with the USB adapter need to route the 802.11b packets to the ethernet side...
For the configuration on the CLIE side you have to put the TCP/IP static except if you install or has DHCP server installed on the machine with the USB adapter...
