Hi,
had all sorts of bother but have it syncing, surfinf and emailing now.

i run windows me, ics on with dial up and my wireless lan usb adapter set in Sharing tab under tools/connections/sharing.
No wep.

My TJ37 is set as follows:

ip - 192.168.0.2
mask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.0.1

dns - get from isp.

PC as follows

under network settings

TCP/IP
wireless lan card - ip 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0
ethernet card - 192.168.0.4 255.255.255.0
dial up adapter - nothing added
Internet connection sharing - nothing added

You need to make sure that your wireless adapter is showing as (home) and dial up as (shared)

I dont have anything in netfront proxy settings.

My ssid is the same as my workgroup.

Hope this helps someone - cool not having to fork out for adsl router !

Whats wrong with ME? Xp is crap , tried it for 1 week and it felt like a fisher price laptop operating system. Winme with system restore off has run crash free for me for a couple of years.
If i want to setup networks i want to do it myself without a wizard so i learn something.

I will upgrade when utterly necessary.

Can i just totally agree. I've used and probably had installed most of the current operating systems. Win ME is the most stable and most useful operating systems of all.

To each their own

WinME has a functuin which I gladly lost in XP, which is their BlueScreenŽ Technology. This is where it crash in to a blue screen situation and then, reset.

If you disable all the playground staff in XP it is stable and fast. I had never a crash with loss of data with XP, which happens more than one time with 95/98/ME/2000
