Multimedia problem...

Hi, may be someone can help me... I have a NX70 with a 128 meg card. My clie camera and movie recorder are set with a Card over Ram preference.I have around 4 meg free in Ram and 100meg free on the card. My problem is a "multimedia error" or "memory error" or "capture error" happening very often but not always whenever I use on of those applications, be it on recording mode or viewing mode. Should I reinstall those applications? Is it a problem with the hardware??? HELP! I love my NX so much!

you're not using that NXMovieAide thingy are you ? I had the same problem until i removed the above app, then everything went back to normal.

Hi,

I also has a NX-70V/H with 128 MS....and I haven't experienced your mentioned problem.

Before running those multimedia applications (and all other as well), I have visited Sony's official website to download the system fix:

http://www.css.ap.sony.com/CLIE/support/index_faq.asp?ProductGroup=CLIE+Handheld

Then I run every piece of default CLie applications and they all run fine. See if this resolve your issue.

Well I took out NXAide and the problem recurred immediatly after...However, it has been much less frequent in the last 72 hours...

Hi MichelS, I had the same problem for a week when I decided to do a hard reset ...

It's worked fine ever since. This includes the use of NX Movie Aide ...
