Is there a way to configure the Jog Dial button to turn the power on for the sj30 ?

In the system prefs you can set the back button to turn on/off.

If you want this action with the Jog Dial, you can do this through a hack. A hack is a small piece of programming and requires a hack master to run. Some of these can change the action of the Jog Dial, and probably set it to turn off/on. Hopefully someone will chime in with the actual hack that does it, but using a hack is, to my knowledge, the only way to accomplish this.
