Batteries!

how much are the batteries for the NX60? And how annoying is it to replace them? Should I just get a service plan that covers them and let them take care of it?

Strange... they list the NX battery as 800mAh, where on the back of the CLIE it says 1A... Shouldn't that mean it has a 1000mAh battery or am I smoking the good stuff?

What your seeing is the total power requirements needed for charging and using at the same time. Same as they use to rate a toaster by when you plugged it into the wall and it was given in watts. Here they gave it in volts and amps. BTW, it would equate to 5.2 watts for the Clie. (Volts x Amps = Watts) is the formula for power.

I just replaced my NX70V battery. This was my experience:
1. Fast shipping from cliebattery.com.

2. They sent the wrong screwdriver! Fortunately, the screwdriver kit that I have for my eyeglasses worked great.

3. Replacing the batery was very easy. Only difficulty involved the stylus slot, but even so, the whole procedure took less than 5 min.

4. Charged my NX overnight and I'm very happy. My old battery wasn't holding any charge at all and the new one is great!

5. Only downside: Now I won't be shopping for a new Clie.
