I got to lock myself up I think. After the release of NZ90, I know that I might end up buying it. I'm however, in a dilemma right now since I plan to buy a new laptop soon as well. As most likely it will cost me 2k+ for the laptop. I must resist....... the temptation to get this most expensive PDA...... must resist.......

The funny thing is I don't even see the real one yet but I'm drooling all over the pictures and demos of the NZ90..... I only have problem with its size especially the hump at the camera and its battery though. Tell myself again..... must resist......

LOL, I loved my NX but less than 30 seconds with a NZ at Circuit City, and I whipped out the Federal Reserve Notes...

I'd get a convertible Tablet PC (one with a built-in keyboard, and a swivel screen like an NR70). :)

Right, and wait 30 seconds for it to boot...

The only PC (laptop or sub-laptop) with an instant on feature was the HP Omnibook series. I still have an use my Omnibook 800 because of this feature.

You know you want it. Go for it! (We are a naughty bunch, aren't we?:D )

As to Tablet PC's: I'd check out the Compaq TC1000. It gives you the best of both worlds. swivel screen laptop and the screen is the computer that can be removed and used in table mode. Goes very well with the NZ90. hehehe

Yes, I almost bought the tabletPC (Toshiba Protege 3500 or Compaq TC1000) two months ago :) The Toshiba one is a bit too expensive (total up to about $2600) for the spec and the TC1000 cannot be close in the fashion to cover the LCD inside (like normal laptop) AFAIK. I might be wrong about this but from every pictures I saw of the TC1000, you cannot close the tabletPC the same way you do with the laptop (i.e., make the LCD be inside rather than outside).

I went to Compusa today and check out the real one (NZ90 I mean). Too bad, they don't have a demo unit and the guy over there won't open it for me :( I might bought it if I see it. This might be a good thing though.... must resist........ :)

Get the NZ90! You only live once! (and I'm not responsible for you spending your own money!)
