Hello all,

I've recently bought a SJ20, and my DSI aluminum hardcase arrived in the mail today. So far, it's working great - none of the problems anybody has reported (scratches on the top of the PDA, squeaking, etc).

I'm wondering if the folding stowaway keyboard will work with this case, with the Clié still in the case. If anybody has this combination, I'd really like to hear how well it works.

Also, will the Innopocket USB charging cable (the one with the hotsync button on it) work with the DSI case?

Thanks all.

No personal experience on this, but I would very much doubt that the keyboard will work with the Clie in the case, since the case adds about an eighth of an inch of depth around the socket. I suspect the only accessories which will connect are those which use a cable.

With regard to the Hotsync cable, the Clie plug on my BoxWave Minisync cable is too thick to plug in with the case completely closed. This is because the plug is thicker and has a curved profile compared with the genuine Sony plug which is thinner and flat.

Having said that, if you open the cover it is possible to ease the bottom of the Clie up a little, which gives enough clearance to plug in. This is what I'd doing for now, until I find the time to attack the case with a file.

The case works great with a Stowaway... better than the Sena case in that it is easier to connect.

I have the Stowaway keyboard and I'm using it with a Covertec case and it works fine. The attachment goody on the keyboard resembles the end of the hot sync cable -- so it sticks out about 1/4 inch and it sits above the keyboard about 1/2 inch total.
