Problems with Missing Sync and NX-60

I've a new NX-60 trying to sync with my Ti PowerBook running OS 10.2.4. I'm using the latest version of Missing Sync, 3.0.4. When I press the hotsync button on the cradle, the hotsync manager opens, but the screen simply displays "Preparing to Syncronize." After a while, it times out, saying the sync could not be completed. Any suggestions?

i get that every once in a while. i found that when it first hangs if i cancel it on the desktop and then cancel it on the handheld, i can then hold the hotsync button down for a couple of seconds and it does the job right. on the very few occasions it still doesn't work i have been able to fix it simply by unplugging the cradle from the usb port, waiting ten seconds, then plugging it back in and hitting the button.

if you have the cradle plugged into a hub that could also cause some problems like this.
