I am about to purchase the TH55 and don't understand the Sony music scheme. Can you copy wma files onto a memory stick and use pocket tunes or a product like that to play music? Do I need software other than Windows Media Player on my computer to accomplish this? I was unable to find what should be an easy answer in searching the forums or on the Pocket Tunes web site. Thanks very much.

Use of the MP3 player is pretty straight forward. If you copy your music files into the MSaudio directory on your Memory Stick that should pretty much do it. You can access your memory stick by using the transfer program. Just connect the USB and press connect.....your memory stick will mount on your desktop as if you were using a card reader. You copy the files to the directory as if you were copying them on to a floppy disk.

Voila!! Now your MP3 player is ready to go.

take care
