Can some one please help me i broke my nz90. I dropped it and mu cuz stepped on it fortunately there are no major sctraches of any kind but the part that displayes leds is completely ripped offC:\Documents and Settings\Zaman Khan\Desktop
does anyone have any idea if i can get this part from anywhere.

Poor guy - seriously, i have no idea how to get a fricken image onto a post. Can anyone help him with the broken clie? That's my worst nightmare!

you have to either upload it into your cliesource data base for find a free webhosting site (maybe geocities) and upload your picture there

i dont want to spend like 700 again to buy a new nz, everything works just fine just that one piece i can clamp it on or super glue it but i dont want the little white stuff to apear at the bottom thats all.

i broke my cradle today too, i am moving so my desk is packed up and i had to work on my bed (the blue background is my bedsheet) so i accidently sat on my cradle and crack

The other day I was using my NZ's movie record... when I played back the video all the sound was really choppy... very quick loud noises about a 1/2 second apart from each other.
I inspected my NZ, the microphone area appeared fine, etc...
After a few hours I finally found that the problem was due to the oval shaped lens that covers the flash. This lens was still in place, but vibrated ever so slightly...it was loose basically. When I held it with my finger the sound problem was fixed.
So basically the super sensitive NZ microphone was amplifying that vibration noise... and recording that as the sound!!!
I had to put a drop of super glue in there to hold it tight...
the problem is fixed,

but what wories me is that as my Clie begins to fall apart there will be no replacement model for the NZ. I love my NZ, but don't want to buy another...I'd rather buy an upgraded model... (which doesn't exist yet).

SONY, MAKE THE NZ100.... I'LL BUY IT!!!

the nz90 cost too much too buy a brand new one, its the most expensive model on the market even when it is discontinued.

i don't care if the NZ was only $200, I just don't want to go out and buy the same thing I bought over a year ago... I'd rather pay for a better model.

I've owned several PDA's over the past 3 years. Each new PDA I purchased replaced the previous one I owned, and was superior in many ways. I'd like to do the same with my current PDA...

if you want to keep bluetooth and a 2mp camera, then wait for hopefully a new model
if not, then get the nx80
it is a big upgrade in the space department, as well as webbrowsing.
and it is much smaller too

the nx 80 may be an upgrade in space but it still doesn't match up too the nz, althogh i wouldn't call it an upgrade its a good device to convert too, but since everything runs just fine i just need to wait a while for a new nz or since i like gaming i can just move to the zodiac.

Yes, both devices have their pro's and con's in comparrison to each other.

one feature I absolutely love about the NZ is it's 2mp camera... this I can't live w/o
...so, I guess I'll have to wait for an NZ100 or something similar!! maybe even from another maker, if Sony doesn't make it?

since i've used both devices extensively, i think that i prefer the nx80 because of the better internet browsing experience.
it is slightly faster on the 80 than the 90 because of the heap memory
and the "flashlight" is pretty cool on the nx80
i never used the 2mp camera all that often anyway

batterylife of the nx80 is much better as well

yea i realized the battery was better yesterday at my cousin's house he owns an nx80v and i really did like the wifi.

Usually when one drops a Clie, you are in BIG trouble. They are very delicate.

i don't think that they are delecate at all, i dropped it out of a moving car and then stepped on it(i am over 200) if that does not break it than i dont know what will.
