what would you recommend as a killer email app? id like to be able to get my mail via WLAN, send and receive any form of attachment, and generally be able to do pretty much what a desktop email app can do.

I have been playing with instantemail which allows me to use hotsync or link through my 8310

I needs you to register another email although you can ping your own email as well.

*goes to take a look at snappermail :)*

Not convinced by snapper as it won't hotsync with my desktop yet.

I mostly use my deskop, but once or twice a month I have to go away for a couple of days and can collect my mail through my phone.

This does not matter to me much, since (I believe) all email apps that sync with the desktop DO NOT sync with any folders other than the INBOX and that is useless to me, since all my mail from clients are filed into specific folders. If I could find as excellent an email app as Snappermail that would sync with all my folders in Outlook, I would switch in an instant.

Versamail WILL sync with different folders, up to 14 I believe but only for one account.   So you can have 8 accounts but only one will sync with Outlook.  Also, VM does not support Hi-Res+ on the Clies.

I use eudora e-mail it syncs with outlook express and sends messages automatically an puts new emails on your pda. If you have wireless options they also work well. It's freeware and its from www.eudora.com
