My Memory Stick is Possessed!

Ok, I have a lexmark 128mb mem stick that I bought and originally foramatted on my clie 615. No problems with it at all. I used the same stick with my Nx70 as well. Now that I'm using it on my NZ9, I'm having some odd problems. Windows 2000 using msimport won't copy all the data from the card. I start a copy and then windows restarts itself. I bought a $20 mem stick usb reader and opening and copying certain images from card yields errors. In fact, opening images off the stick shows them as corrupt.

BUT - when I use the stick in the clie, it works great. No probs, all data is fine. Even the images which show a corrupt open and zoon perfect.

Any ideas??

I know that yesterday, my MS went haywire and corrupted itself. I called Sony and they told me it was the safest thing to always re-format an MS when transferring from one clie to another. I reformatted my MS and now it seems to work perfect. Although it did scare me a lot when it lost everything. Good thing i had a backup on my desktop.
