I have managed to configure it properly to see the shared directory and can transfer files TO my Clie from the PC, but am unable to send files to my PC. Are there any settings server-side that I might be missing?

Its an option fron the toolbar. Whatever directory your logged into on the PC the file from the Clie will be moved/copied into.

Sorry for not being too clear in my first post. I know HOW to transfer the files, it just won't work. I get an error (wish I could give you the exact language, but I'm at work and the WIFI setup is at the house) everytime I try to transfer to my PC from the Clie. That's why I was wondering if there is some port I need to open for uploading on the PC side.
I'm never very clear before my first Starbucks of the day. :)

Found this it may be the port on http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27494&perpage=40&highlight=smbmate%20port&pagenumber=2
"I agree the Win XP firewall should not be a handicap
HotSync service port = 12438
SmbMate service port= 139
These were obtained from my firewall log in the Windows Folder."

May be you didn't have checked the "Let users to change my files" option in the share windows on your XP machine.
If you didnt the folder is shared as a read only resource, and you can read everything, but cant write anything to it.
Am i right? or some other ideas?

Hands High Software now owns SMBMate and will be marketing it as WiFile (http://www.handshigh.com/html/wifilepr1.html).

I will not open the 139 port unless you really need it... not safe to open netbios to the net.

If you had taken a look at the link, you would have seen:
WiFile is scheduled to be available by the end of March, 2004. It will be available for $29.95 from the Hands High Software web site at www.handshigh.com, as well as leading online resellers of Palm OS software.
