View Full Version : woohoo!
Just got the supplynet cable for my v60 verizon phone...for a college student with tech envy like myself, it's far easier to buy a $50 accessory for my current device than $500-$800 for a new one. Besides...the nr70v is the *perfect* form factor for me...I couldn't deal with either anything larger, or anything smaller with a smaller feature set. And now I can go online with it. Between installing new yishow icons yesterday and this, my tech envy is now on the backburner.
Cheers,
Matt

Congrats! Don't you just hate it when that tech envy is eating you up inside?

I currently own a T615C and will be buying a NR70V tomorrow Saturday at Best Buy. I would like to know if all of my apps and hacks that are on my current clie work on the NR70V?
Anyone have any clues or suggestions?
Thank you!
I am so excited!!!

I bought a similar cable for my T720 and my NR70(+V). Verizon has a nice deal on minutes so I picked that one up too.

Everything should work, plus 1/3 screen more makes a world of a difference.

You should be all set, but you'll probably need even more hacks, I currently run 7. Once you start looking at some of the great VG skins out you'll see how easy it is to customize your NR. I really think the NR is the tweaker's holy grail. It has 90% of the hardware features of the NX, but none of the OS 5 compatibility issues that limit what you can do to it.

That's 1/2 screen more !
BTW, if you have the latest versions of the following programs, they will work in "full screen" (aka minimized graffiti area) mode on the NR-series:
- DateBk5
- PalmReader
- ZLauncher
- Plucker (HiRes version)
- WordSmith
- Shadow Plan
- many games, such as Billiards
The main additional Hack you will want is PageDownHack, which copies the functionality of the hard buttons onto the Status Bar for when you are in "tablet mode". Along with that, get a Status Bar skin which has those buttons depicted graphically so you know where to tap for what.
