Does anyone here use DALauncher? I've looked at the screenshots on the homepage (though I can't read it) and browsed PalmGear's DA addons; it seems like a fairly popular app but I can't see how I would use it.

Abso-fuggin-lootly Randall!!

I would be lost without my DAs!! I use DA Launcher 4.1b1 and Power DA simultaneously. I use DA Launcher to identify WHERE my DAs will pop up and I use Power DA to map "DA invocation" to the down arrow on the Clie Silkscreen bar.

I've been using DAs for years and I would be lost without them.

...and there you have it.

Hey smeggie, that is the nicest collection of DA's I have ever seen. Can you recommend a website or a link that would contain most of those DA's. I miss the AudioDa for the Audio Player on OS 4, that was really handy.

Thank you.

What is a DA. Any site with more info?

DA is short for Desktop Accessory.

DAs are handy little quick access apps that began as hacks many moons ago. Fortunately, they work well in OS5.

For example, there is DA that brings up a little calculator while you are still in another app. HRCaptDA is a screenshot DA. Copy and Paste do what their names imply. ResetDA? Yep, you guessed it. :) One of my favorites is the ContextDA which enables you to create your own DAs.

I have a vast collection of these and would be willing to upload them here, but it would likely go against what has been defined as the rules here.

If you make your DAs downloadable here or elsewhere, let me know. I'd love to get my hands on that.
Thanks..
