Help! Need NX70V CD

hi...i just bought my sony clie nx70v on ebay. i love it.....but it didn't come with the installation cd so i can sync with my pc. please does anyone have this available? i've called sony and they don't seem willing to help. i've looked at the palm website but it asks for a model to be specified and the only choices are palm brand pdas.

any help would greatly be appreciate! thanks!

there's a guy hosting the CDs on a FTP site, just make a search on ClieSource, and you'll find it.

thanks to both of you! i did find and download a file on the internet....cliepd401.exe....is this the one i need? also i downloaded the usb port patch pdt401-patch.exe.

but now i can't get them to install! i saw another post that recommended burning the files to a cd, so i'm going to try that. am i doing something wrong? it pulls up the install wizard recognizing new hardware.....but won't install it because it says i don't have the software. this was after i had already installed the cliepd401 stuff i downloaded. :-(

Okay....well, that didn't work. I keep getting the message that I can't install new hardware because I don't have the right software. I've been working on this for hours....bummer!

Any ideas? I know someone recommended the FTP server....but I can't find any way to access that??

Try to find this guy with the FTP server, he has images of whole installation CDs, so you could burn them and get the complete original CD.

neeper....i would recommend getting in touch with one of the members who helped me out (pm or email) to see if you might be able to get it from them. i'd put mine up on the web but i have no idea how to!! also, you can call sony customer service. they will refer you to the parts dept where you can order one for $6.95. i did that.....but just have no idea how long it will take to get here, so it's nice to be able to use my clie in the meanwhile!
