Rename the .mqv extension to .mov. The files can be played with the Quicktime media player. Free download from Apple.

.mqv files should play in Quicktime without renaming (they do on my 'puter).

I always use 'right-click' and 'rename' with no problem. I have even just tried it on an .mqv file with no trouble!

The other option is to click once on the file in Windows Explorer and then click on it again (not a double-click!) and then just overtype the file name and extension.

For God sake, SEARCH man!
u don't have to rename them,
just go to dl the newest QuickTime, and the MQV will play with no problem.
