Hey, I have been on quite a "mission" to find a piece of software for the palm that is comparable to Journal Bar (Pocket PC app). I can find multiple softwares that can do many of the functions, but nothing all-inclusive. I have this feeling that it MUST exist and I am just missing it? What do you guys think? Here is the link to Journal Bar:

This looks like it's an Avantgo (http://www.avantgo.com) type application. Others exist, and can be found on PalmGear, like Plucker, MobiReader, and (my preference) iSilo (http://www.iSilo.com) .

Avantgo is probably the easiest to use. It grabs Web data as you hotsync; the others require a few steps: some PC side customization and download of Web data that you then hotsync to your PDA. I choose a non-Avantgo solution because iSilo -- as do the others -- serves as offline document readers besides simply being offline Web readers.

YMMV and others will probaby correct what I've written.

AFAIK, nothing like that exists for the Palm. I have seen similar expensive subscription downloads, but none of them would be accessed from a Today screen. AvantGo, Plucker and iSilo would be the closest match.
I use the 'Cruise' function of NetFront 3.x to recall my favorites sites (Google news, Yahoo Weather, etc..) which were updated automatically just before I hit the road.

Aww, I was afraid of that. It is very unfortunate. It would be nice to be able to open a single program and have it display everything like that. I use AvantGo and iSilo but they are not quite what I am looking for. Thanks for the feedback.
