I have a wireless network - Linksys 2.4G Wireless G Broadband Router.

My computer is Windows 2000, and I have the PEG-TH55 unit and i'm trying to connect wireless.

it see's my wireless access point which is the router, but I get
0x1212

I have no WEP enabled so it is a simple setup.
ProfileName: linksys
SISD: linksys
Wep: None

ConnectMode: Infrastructure
AutoConnect - checked.

Advanced setup: IP adress - auto checked
DNS Address: Auto - checked
PowerSaveMode - Enabled checked

Do you have any suggestions.
Thanks

This sounds like the same problem that I reported here. (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43855)

Try turning on WEP and see if it works.

thats strange. My wirless g of the same make has worked flawlessly with all of my pdas. Try resetting the router, then updating the firmware.

Try disabling the Powersave mode. I have the same wireless router, and I kept getting the same 'Timeout error'. I read another thread with a similar issue, and the general consensus seems to be that the Powersave mode is worthless! BTW, I'm writing this on my TH-55 connected wlrelessly! This PDA is AWESOME! Good Luck!

i had a similar problem...although I have a wireless B...anyway, my TH55 connected immediately...and QUICKLY...once I assigned it a static IP address in the router settings....my router allows dynamic IPs to be assigned AND specially assigning certain IPs to certain MAC addresses...anyway, thats what I did and it worked immediately

I am also having a simlilar issue, my TH55 can scan and see my home network without a problem, but when i try and connect it just times out, any suggestions?

I've tryed with auto IP, static IP, WEP on, WEP off, etc, etc, with no luck!

try manually entering an IP address rather than letting it get it all auto... set the Secondary Gateway to 4.2.2.2

I had a lot of problems until I manually ented the ip and all gateway info.

My Th55 can work on the Linsys Wireless G router by using 64 bits wep.

I spent many an hour playing with it but discovered the problem was using a shared key with WEP. I now have it setup using an open key and 128bit WEP and it works great.

ConnectMode: Infrastructure .

Should be "adhoc". (not PDA to PDA)
