Hi all,

With the 4 Gig hard drive available from those mp3 players, I am wondering if it can be used in an NX. Can those large drives be used (and all the available space)?

Since the Memory Stick Pro format has been introduced and can theoretically hold 32 Gig, I assume that the format is no longer FAT or FAT16 or whatever.

Thanks,
Steve

How can an MSPRO hold 32gb?
The largest volume able to be put into a clie are those 4gb microdrives (but they really drain power).

MSPro is currently only manufactured up to 2GB size (Sandisk) or 1GB size for Sony and Lexar, but the specification does allow for up to at least 16GB (on a Sony document I read) or 32GB (unconfirmed). It will take a few years for the capacities to get up to this point, though.
Best wishes,
