Hello all,
Im in the market of getting a bluetooth pcmcia card for my laptop.
I was wondering. Rather than purchasing an additional card, can i use the Sony MS Bluetooth Card with the relevant pcmcia adaptor in my laptop?
If so, what drivers do i need?

I'd really doubt it. I had the MS camera and tried that but it never worked. I'm not sure which needs the driver, the MS or the PCMCIA adapter, but they just wouldn't interface. It might be a different story if you had a PC driver for the BT MS but even then it might not work because of the adapter.

I have the Sony Bluetooth memory stick and it doesn't work on my notebook. Its just that Sony didn't release a driver for windows.

Is the MS Bluetooth made by Sony or some other company.
The reason why i ask this is because the WL 100 Wifi card is made by Socket even though i had Sony plastered all over it. Im able to use that in my laptop.
I was wondering if this was the same....

Nope. It doesn't work. It is only recognised as a PCMCIA IDE/ATAPI Controller. The bluelight doesn't even come up.
My WL-100 is recognised as Intel PRO/Wireless_LAN_PC_card on my notebook.
