What is the max read speed of a memory stick (on a TH55)?

How fast can the TH55 read from the memory stick?

I was thinking about how long it would take to load files like pictures and what is the highest video bit rate it can handle...

Using FlyZipXR I sent LCDAnalyzer to the MS as an uncompressed shortcut.

My max write speed was 850kb a second and read was 1850kb a second.

I can buy a 64mb memory stick that has a data throughput of 350kb/sec. It is $32. I will only use it for apps and books, no music or video. My Clie is the JP27. Is this stick too slow? or is it's relative "slowness" compared to other memory sticks insignificant?
