Is it worth upgrading from NX73 to NX80?

Just received the NX80 with the wireless card..(Thanx CDW!)

I have owned an NX73 for the last 2 months and its in great shape. I had ordered for this package at CDW, primarily to get the WiFi card and resell the pda.

However, now I am contemplating if I should resell the Sealed NX80 (which I may be able to sell for 299!) or the NX73 (which may sell for less (??)).

Based on the experiences people have had with the two units, is it worth upgrading from NX73 to NX80?

I do not plan to open the NX80 unless I am sure that its the one I am going to retain, which would primarily depend on the experiences of seasoned users!

I dunno about you but I have the NX-73V and I just bought the NX-80V from ebay ($475CAD including Shipping and what not).

More memory (upto 30MB with JackFlash of course)

better overclock ability (currently running it at 400Mhz vs 300Mhz only on my NX-73V w/ PXA Clocker)

More RAM

But I love both of them and with the WL110 but for me I don't

ask ricleo. He sold his NX80 and bought a NX73. He said, he sold because he wanted the black color of nx73. I would sell my NZ for a NX80 (because of its Form factor and its color (i dont like black))

If you are going to sell your nx73, how much are you asking for it?

You also have to ask yourself if you intend to do a lot of surfing with your PDA. If so, the NX80 is an easy choice. With its larger heap memory, "Page Too Large" errors are a thing of the past. While I can't speak from experience, given that I've never used an NX73 in this capacity, from what I've heard, it's a real pain in the arse. My NX80 has never hung opening a web page. And, with Netfront 3.1 installed, it's better than ever.

Of course, you also get a better camera, capture light, and more JackFlash memory - but that you already know.

the capture light is the best!

I'm thinking of going from my NX to the TG just for the form factor and Enhanced PIM.

But really it's what meets your need and $$$.

i would say it depends on which NX73 you have, if its the ero version with BT, KEEP IT!
