I have been using the Palm note pad that someone on here sent me...before that I was using NoteIt....

I also have the OS5 CLieNote App...whish is just about perfect, except for NO ALARM...which is unacceptable.

I would like a hires+ note pad APP with an alarm..are there any out there?

BugMe! is HiRes+ and has alarms.

I am aware of bugme...but it was my impression that bugme is riddled with (excuse the pun) bugs.....

Maybe they have all of that cleared up now... i will give it a trial, and see how it goes.

Diddlebug is what I'm using, it's not hi res+ but it's free and is 99.99% reliable as compared to bugme which does not work at all (in my opinion). I haven't had 1 fatal error with diddlebug and I use it all the time.

If you can live without hi-res+, it's worth a try.

I agree, BugMe has too many problems, which is said since I would love a color, high-res+ alarm note app that I can rely on.

Please elaborate on BugMe!'s bugs. I have been a long-time user, and v4.3 works great on my NX70V.

I have'nt encountered any bugs either. Another question though is there an OS5 version of the old memo pad?

everytime I set an alarm to go off it would crash, I deleted, reinstalled several times (shouldn't have to do that)...the main purpose for me was to write a quick note and set an alarm...like Laundry (take it out of washing machine in 45 minutes)...it crashed everytime on my NR70V....I gave up on it and I'm not trying it again. Diddlebug has been much more reliable for me.

ps - the support was nonexistant when I emailed them for help.

I'm probably gonna jinx myself, but I'm using a version that was posted here called BugMeVG. No problems.

I think BugMeVG was the first version they offered that had high-res+ support. I also had fatal alerts when some notes went off, and the final straw was when I had a fatal alert, then after the required soft reset, I went back to BugMe to see which note had went off, and my entire BugMeDB had gotten deleted. In my book, that made it too unreliable to count on. Even without the bugs, BugMe has gotten a lot slower since they added high-res+ support. I too use DiddleBug and really appreciate it's speed and reliability. In addition, it has some features that BugMe doesn't have, most notably the ability to have note-specific alarms. That is great for times when I'm putting my infant son to bed and want a reminder to do something that doesn't play an alarm, so as not to wake him up.

The VG release came out in mid Nov. after the HiRez+ was giving fits to a lot of us. I guess I'll stick with it till I have problems. It IS a lot slower since the hi rez+ version came out, but all my alarms are reliable(so far).
