Hello,
some months ago I bought a NX-70 and I am very happy with that handheld so far. The only problem I have is the small RAM. So I have the following question:
Which program would be the best to get more apps on my palm, probably using my memorystick or CF-Card?
I know that there are several posts concerning this question, but nevertheless I cannot really find an answer to my question.
Which advantages have Lightnzip or Flyzip and what in fact is the difference between them? And what about Powerrun?
Thank you for your help,
Felix
The best available are ZLaucher and PowerRun for saving memory on an NX-70 which I have as well.:)
Yep, also you can use JackFlash to gain access to Flash RAM (I think around 4MB for NX70, not too sure about the exact number figure). You can move some applications there too. & after a hard reset, you just need Flash Enable from your MS to bring those applications back. :D
I use PowerRun to launch many huge files from MS, such as PicselViewer, NetFront3, even ClieMail. :)

Such a good app, I always forget it is there. It gave me about 4500kb extra to use.

ZL & Jackflash... indispensable programs for NX70 users... tho Jackflash could be pricey for only 4.5MB BUT for me it was WORTH the price...

Thank you very much for your quick reply. So I will try Powerrun and maybe JackFlash. But is there any risk using JackFlash? Can it destroy the flash RAM of my Clie?

I'm sure there are some risks, but the stability of JackFlash has been proven time and time again. I have used it on a Palm Vx, Clie T-615 and now my Clie Nx-70. I have never had a problem other than a reset bug one time, but nothing serious. That is over a 4 year period.:)
