Note, This program only for UX50/UX40!!!

I dont get it. I thought netfront ran at 480x320 anyway.... what does this software do exactly?

This program acts as a shell of Netfront3.1.
It sets 480*320 mode first, then call Netfront 3.1.

That does seem nice, if it truly does work. I can't seem to download that .prc from your link though! :( I would like to get my hands on that.

btw. the same thing happnes if you run some wide screen app (like snails) first and the open netfront :-)
btw. the ctrl+h doesn't work if I'm in netfront, does anyone else experienced this ?

I've installed the file and ran NF3.1 from the new NF icon, works well, but the screen did not change in capacity (side bar still there).
Had anybody encounter more success?

This is good - thanks whoever made this (I don't have any full-screen games installed at the moment, so I wasn't able to try that trick; Besides, this is better because I only have one thing to run this way).

How do we use this file? Any instructions on this? Im pretty sure I screwed it up....tia.
This is cool shell program, so as I was reading the post (in Simplified Chinese by the way). Where exactly is this program suppose to be installed to? RAM, internal? :confused: & what about the NF3.1? Internal?
Can anyone confirm that this Netfront loader is working ?
Tried on my UX without any success.
No problem's, just install patch NetFront.prc (6k) by HotSync then run it with the new icone.
It's work fine for me see down :

I have installed the file to RAM, and put NF to work throgh the new icon, but I still get the same old screen. Idea anybody?

For me works only then when itself NetFront is in the RAM. Whether somehow it is possible to change this shell that it started NetFront from InternalMedia?

What version of netfront do you use?
Did you change the skin of the status bar?
I didn't make anything to get it work.
Just installing in the ram.
using NF31 in RAM, but I did change to custom VG. I'll try to switch back to original VG & see. :)
rabbitxf wrote a script which makes it possible to see netfront 3.1 without the bar of state.
It works very well and the question which I would like to ask is : What about Movie Player.
It would be really nice to be able to visualize a movie without the bar of state.
rabbitxf can you do that?

I'd LOVE to get rid of the status bar for the movie player too! It really wastes screen space. Because of the shape of most videos I play, having the status bar at the side makes them less tall as well as less wide (wasting space at the top and bottom of the screen that could be filled by video). Very frustrating.
If someone wrote a generic app that hid the status bar (and toggled it with a key combination or something) that would be WONDERFUL.
MoviePlayer without side status bar sounds tempting! :D

OK, now if I can just get NF3.1 to work with the shell file first. :D
It's not working even when I changed back the VG to original so I don't know what to do. The Shell netfront.prc 5k file is visible inside RAM via McFile. When I run NF3.1 (also inside RAM) the status bar is still visible. Not sure what to do. been spending heaps of time on this issue these several days already, think it's about time I put it to a rest. :(

mine worked fine the first time. i just launched netfront (the shell) and up came my netfront 3.1 on full screen :)
hum... it's not working on my UX50, perhaps because it's JP version, though I can't think of any reason why that would have any impact. Since it's only a shell program. :(

hum.. well, I haven't tried that since I've been so fed up already from not being able to launch NF3.1 from shortcut via ZLauncher. I've tried it all, believe me. From changing attribute to changing Creator IDs. Nearly tried everything but now NF3.1 is in RAM nonetheless. But you brought up a good point to try out snails to see if it would make NF3.1 full screen. Thanks! ;)

Not working for me netiher (got a vg skin also) ; i use mmplayer to launch NF in fullscreen very usefull :)
I also read somewhere an app is able to map buttons for several actions, maybe it'd be the perfect solution ;

hm, the snails trick work for me but it doesn't work with the shell app

worked for me....
I have NF3.1 in internal media in the /palm/launcher
using appshelf 1.04 and with the option: "When starting a Card appl, a file is copied if same name DB in ROM." (Basic Settings, last checkbox on page 2)
I then hotsynced the shell to RAM, and then ran the shell file.
Worked like a charm.
I did make some test with an other launcher.
The full screen without status bar don't work with ZLauncher active.
It work fine with standar CLIE Launcher or AppShelf.
Maybe you've got a clue.

actually, I'd like to ammend my previous post. it didn't work the first time. I had to exit out of NF3.1, and re-enter it before it working.
Maybe it's a ZLauncher thing. Exit and ZL and retry?

Yeah, he did send me the NF3.1H version, but it still didn't work, I tried surfing the net launching NF3.1H from Palm/Launcher/ & soft-reset while surfing! :eek:
I think this might be something to do with the ZLauncher4 I'm using or what? :confused:

I tried both standard Clie Launcher & AppShelf & they both worked with Shell plug-in. This is really cool! Least finally some improvement. Now I still have to try & figure out why I can't get NF3.1 to run properly from MS or Internal Media. I can only run it off RAM. :(
