All Outlook not syncing.....yes I searched first

I am having trouble getting all of the information in Outlook to syc with the SJ30. Any suggestions?

Problem: contact in outlook has address and such, when I hotsync, info doesnt show in Clie, just name.

What program are you using to sync? I use Pocketmirror Pro and would be glad to shoot some ideas your way if that's the program you use.

If you are using Pocketmirror, I do have one quick Outlook suggestion, though. Make sure that the address you want transferred has the "Mailing Address" box checked. The conduit transfers only that address that is marked as the "mailing address".

I use Intellisync (or whatever program came with the Clie) to sync. Should I be using something different?

And I did have the mailg address box checked.....

Oops, sorry, I use Pocketmirror and absolutely love it. I haven't even tried Intellisync.

Pawe, Pocket Mirror didnt come on my Clie CD, however, it was on my hubby's Tungsten CD. SO...I loaded on to my machine and synced and VOILA....all the info was there. It did duplucate names, but hubby suggested deleting from the Clie and sync again to clean up the names. Thanks for the suggestion!

I have been using PocketMirror Pro for a few years to sync Outlook with both my wife's and my Palm (now Clies). I absolutely love the program - it is one of the few commercial programs that I have bought. The Pro version includes using Outlook folders as Palm categories, which makes managing addresses, notes, etc. really, really easy under Outlook. I'm glad that it worked out for you.

If you haven't already tried to delete the duplicates, you can have PocketMirror overwrite the contents of the Clie's address book.

How? I dont wanna mess up anything. Should I make sure my PC has all the info I want from the Clie first or sumthin.....

If Outlook has the info that you want, you can have PocketMirror overwite the handheld data with the Outlook data. THIS WILL OVERWRITE THE HANDHELD ADDRESSBOOK! However, you can set up PocketMirror to only overwrite the addressbook and do nothing for any of the others. I usually make a backup of the palm info backup directory before I do something like this.

Anyhow, if you feel uncomfortable doing this, you can sync up Outlook and the Clie and then delete the dups in Outlook. You could even make another folder in Outlook and simply drag and drop the dups to another directory, then sync again. It depends on how paranoid you are. I'm pretty paranoid, so I usually backup anything that might be affected.

Ultimately, you decide. If you feel more comfortable getting rid of the dups on the Clie, do it. It's better to "waste" a little time for peace of mind.

I deleted the dups in outlook and re-synced. Worked like a charm. Thanx Paul for all ure help!
