I'm dead serious...
I was getting ready to go out, so I left the Nz90 OPENED CLAMSHELL MODE and when I was going out, it feel from the 2nd floor. NOTHING HAPPENED !!! Well, the stylus and the memory card came out, but nothing happened.
But I will probably exchange it just to make sure. Maybe the unit is STRONG after all, it fell in CLAMSHELL MODE, OPENED. I'm not joking !!!

wow.....your heart must have stopped for a few seconds.
That is really good to hear, but I doubt my luck is that good...I dropped my pager only about 5 feet and the lcd screen broke
so have to make sure never to drop my nz90

Noo the stairs... I left it for like for 10 seconds...
I will take a picture of the place..
BY THE WAY !!! IT FELL ON THE CARPET.. maybe that's why nothing happened.. and It wasn't my fault, my friend trew my hat at me, but it hit the Nz90..

Depends on the angle of attack when it impacted the carpet. All it took for my old Visor Deluxe was one good drop after many falls, and that is all she wrote. Broke screen.
If I could get my hands on a NZ90 for around $600 or so, I would get one. The $800 tag is too much for me.

I am happy to hear that the NZ is tough, but I do not plan on dropping it anytime soon :D

You are so lucky! As I asked in another thread: Can I borrow some of that luck for a trip to Atlantic City?

It doesn't mean your safe in a single storey building coz it doesn't need to fall higher for it to break for as what was said...

Nice to know that your NZ is ok, but what about the floor? I mean, if I dropped a brick from the second floor, I'd have to check for cracks in the cement or a gash in the hardwood.

Well, he said it fell on carpet, so it should be alright.
