Though most of you may not care too much, I'm thrilled! I just bought a UX40 (from Compuplus for $380), and am upgrading from my NX70V. Can't wait!
Will now do a board search for cases.

The best price I could find on a UX50 was $550. Plus, I don't need WiFi, I really only need Bluetooth.

Congrats! I just got mine (ux50) also this week, couldn't wait any longer for a new device. I thought the small screen and lanscape would be a problem but I don't mind it...
ux40 is much better than th50, thats why ux cost more than th
plus UX40 doesn't suffer from the whining screen ..

welcome to the ux family :) i just sent my 50 to fix the crooked screen and the whine as well, but i can very well say that my 3 weeks with the ux has been fantastic, and definitely have no regrets getting it.

My Ux 40 has a whining screen ... and I paid 550.00 for it when it first came out! I have a BT cell phone so I can go online anytime anywhere, personally, I have no need for WiFi. Who knows, tho, perhaps I would too look for WiFi spots to hang in??!!
