Hi!
I'm a Mac OS X user so I'm unable to take advantage of Sony's software for converting movies. I want so much to play with the idea of movies on my new TH55.
Can any mac users recommend Kinoma? Does it work well? Are the results good?
Thanks!
IMHO Kinoma is a severe pain in a soft spot and I'm not even a Mac user. There's gotta be a better way to make clie compatible movies on a mac.
Quicktime perhaps?

I purchased Kinoma about two years ago when that was my alternative. I can't remember exactly, but you should be able to change out the file extension .mov to .mqx (or whatever) and have your clie play it. Actually, maybe it was converting it on the PC which generates the .mqx file, then drag it into the mac and change it to .mov and it plays in quicktime. Yeah, that sounds right, which means I just wasted your time and you're right, you still need to convert it somehow. Sorry :(
Have you tried Cleaner? I wonder if that might work.

Sheesh! I'm an idiot.
I actually have Cleaner and, sure enough, it supports file formats for running video on Palms and Clie's!!!
Thanks for jogging my memory!
