I read some threads that said MS pros were NOT noticefully faster in previous clie (NX80 NX73...etc), but did really well on UX50. I wonder how MS pros performance in TH55, especially opening a photo or a file on the card. I'm consider of buying one, but I'am afraid that it won't be any faster.

My VFSMark and Raw I/O tests for the TH55 are almost identical to the UX50 numbers, and in general about twice as fast as the NX/NZ era PDAs.

Not surprising since the TH and UX use very similar system software (including what I believe is a newer and streamlined memory stick driver)

----
Read the following summary, and the numbers and conclusions stated for the UX50 should apply to the TH55 *except* when it mentions the UX50 internal media (the TH55 doesn't have that feature)

Ie. a *regular* memory stick in a TH55 should be about as fast as an MS Pro stick in a NX/NZ.

I concur with Cliepet's findings. The UX was my first Clie so I never experienced the "slow" access of others. To me, the TH is exactly the same access speed. The difference is intangible.

My TH is going back I think. I'm too accustomed to a keyboard. Also, bluetooth may not appeal to some people, but once you've used it you can't give it up.
