I've been using LauncherX for awhile now and really like it. I have several different categories with tabs. However, I'd like to have ONE tab that will display ALL programs, similar to the default OS's launcher. Is there some way to do this that I just haven't figured out yet?

Not possible right now. It's already been suggested to the developer to consider adding it, though.

Haha, sorry about that...I woulda thought the absence of this feature was obvious to users of LauncherX:)

Actually, the absence of the All tab is a positive in my book. I don't like the All tab and don't want to have to deal with hiding it so it doesn't take up more space.

The problem with an All tab is that is will also be followed with an Unfiled tab, which is what I hate even more than an All tab. I like the fact that LX is smart enough to auto categorize my files and it puts new apps in my Apps folder rather than some "Unfiled" bin.

I agree with not liking the UNFILED tab. But let's face it; if your launcher is to be the best out there, it should have the ability to be customized to just about anyone's likings. For instance, when I create a new category in LX, it should have a drop-down menu of some sort, which would display options for the TYPE of category I want it to be; ie. ALL, UNFILED, HIDDEN, PRIVATE, CUSTOM (custom being the standard categories it has now). I even tried e-mailing LX with this idea, but just got an auto-reply back saying that I should check the FAQ...

If you want an All tab (in absence of LX's ability to have one), set the default launcher to All, and run it. You'll have an all tab any time you want.

I also dislike the "all" tab and the "unfiled" tab. I used Megalaucher briefly, and these featyres were some of the reasons that I switched to LauncherX.
If you want an "all" tab, I think "wnm" has the solution - the default laucher is only a click away.
Basically, I find LX much easier to configure to my preferences - both visually and functionally. The only thing I would like changed is to have more customized gadget settings - I'd like to be able to add any program I want to it in much the same way as windows gives you the "quick launch" option. This way, for instance, I could put MSimport in the gadget bar instead of one I use less often (like beam or information or rename).

I suggest a program called NRButtons (I think), which allows you to add icons for any program currently installed to the "taskbar" on the bottom of the screen. Very much like QuickLaunch in windows. I got it from this site SOMEwhere. I think the nXt's club site, linked from the main page.

Hmm...thanks for the suggestion mjpd1
Sounds like an awesome little app.....but the name makes me think it wouldn't work on my T665. Does anyone know of a similar app that is more universal?

I just discovered Easylaunch: (http://mujweb.atlas.cz/www/hysy/EasyLaunch.htm#Description)
I love finding new Apps that do exactly what I want (and are free). I still think that LaucherX should include this feature in a future release, but until then shortcuts will have to do...
