chipping chrome

The chrome strip around my T665 begins to chip in the corner area. Anything I can do to stop? :(

This strip is actually plastic coated in a chrome enamel. When this was brough up before, a couple of the ladies of cliesource were able to recommend a nail polish that matched the shade of chrome perfectly. My chrome never started chipping though, so I didn't pay attention to what the name of the polish was. Maybe someone can step in here behind me and finish my thought.

What I'd like to know is if there are any touchup paints to match the color of a T415 and a SJ30.
